When you’re feeling overwhelmed or your body is giving you signs that you’re overdoing it,: stop, breathe, and remember one thing: everything can wait. - Alexis Jones

A quick word on Overwhelm:

If you are feeling overwhelmed, I get it.

I am Jess Hughes and I create things to the max - I'm a bit "extra" for sure.

I also create LOTS of things to work for ALL styles of learning, so I need YOU to pick and choose what is right for you.

But here are my thoughts: Overwhelm really is a perspective...and a choice

The bottom line is YOU get to choose what parts of ⚡️WIRE you resonate with, and what parts you don't. 👊

Take what you like and leave the rest.

 This is NOT school.

You don't have to follow any rules.

You do NOT have to "keep up".

You can't "fall behind"

There's no grades.

So play.

ok?

I'm a DISRUPTOR of norms, I don't follow any rules, I do EVERYTHING out of order. I skip steps and say f*ck it to anyone that wants to "tame" me. I've learned to work WITH my chaos. And it started with what I believe about me.

Changing the story.

so relax and know that you tuning into YOUR power is what this is all about.

If you need my permission, you have it.

What I want MOST is for my people to find their VOICE and inner power in ALL things.

This will get you there.

I promise.

Here's some ways you could find your POWER to choose what's right for you:

  1. LISTEN to the podcast only.

  2. DON'T read the emails.

  3. Read the emails & IGNORE the podcast (though you'll be eating the burger without the meat. lol)

  4. Unsubscribe from the DAILY prompts sent via email. You'll still get the Weekly WIRE. But no daily emails. (I wouldn't unsubscribe to the Weekly email, or you'll be lost.)

  5. Reach out IF you want them turned back on later in the year.

  6. Or don't.

  7. Go PLAY and come back to it.

  8. Go SLEEP and come back to it.

  9. Or WRITE about the version of you that has a voice, knows what you want, knows what you DON'T want, and owns the UNAPOLOGETIC power to choose. That version of you that is unf*ckwithable exists.

  10. Breathe. It's all ok. I promise. I was a deeply "overwhelmed" person for decades. You CAN learn to change that story. Permanently.

I love you. I've got you. Stay in the middle.

Love,

jess
